Saint Martin Vacations
Saint Martin is a tropical island in the Caribbean. Saint Martin is approximately 150 mi east of Puerto Rico and is one of the smallest inhabited landmasses in the world that is divided between two nations. The Netherlands and France each lay claim to roughly one half of the 38 square mile island. So planning a vacation here can be complicated. In Sint Maarten, the Dutch side, people are known for festive nightlife, casinos, and fun beaches. Saint-Martin, the French side, is more renown for its nude beaches, shopping, exotic rum drinks, and French Caribbean cuisine. Vacations in Saint Martin are filled with fun and exasperation so you’ll need somewhere to sleep come the end of the day. Rentals on the island include five star hotels, bed and breakfasts, inns, and a limited number of summer vacation homes for rent.
